Grünland, a history of natural well-being
Founded in Vicenza in 1949 by brothers Giovanni and Francesco Berdin, the company sells more than 1.5 million pairs of footwear per year, and the Grünland and Grünland Junior brands are now a benchmark for quality and comfort in the footwear market and, like all the group’s products, are made with comfort in mind without neglecting fashion trends, research, design and innovation.
Prior to the SeeCommerce-ScanCube project, information was scattered in various archives, translations were done in an unstructured manner, and photos were taken by photographers to whom the entire sample collection was sent. With more than 1,500 items of which 70 percent underwent semi-annual rotation it took months of work to create and deliver product sheets for dozens of B2B customers and our B2C e-commerce.
Time that was synonymous with costs and sometimes delays.
“The marketing, sales and product teams, thanks to SeeCommerce and ScanCube, have automated creation, organization and propagation of photos and data of our footwear.”

SeeCommerce x Grünland | Integration with ScanCube
Automatic, professional-quality photo shoots
The reengineering of the flow related to product content started from the photo shooting process.
With ScanCube – a solution that combines hardware, software and artificial intelligence – Grünland has internalized and automated the creation of the shots of each shoe, zeroing in on the time and resources previously required for brief assignment, monitoring of photographers’ orders and post-production of the shots needed for visual representation of the products.
ScanCube’s light box takes photos and videos from multiple angles (including 360°) and is integrated with SeeCommerce PXM, which, thanks to the naming convention, automatically associates each media with data about the product it represents.
Photographs taken by ScanCube are automatically transmitted into SeeCommerce, which associates them with the product data they represent.
Do you dream of such a story for your brand as well?
SeeCommerce’s data model flexibility and responsiveness turn efficiency desires into reality.
Want us to show you how? It only takes a few minutes.
SeeCommerce x Grünland | Total control of media and product data
Automatic media-product data association and omnichannel propagation
Into SeeCommerce converges the entire data (from ERP) and media (from ScanCube) assets of each shoe.
With our Product eXperience Management solution, Grünland teams have a single source of truth to search for any content on the fly, enrich it with marketing descriptions, translate the information, and deliver media and data in B2C ecommerce tabs and views.
Integration with the ERP, moreover, is bidirectional: SeeCommerce, in fact, also enriches product master data with the shots taken by ScanCube, speeding up operations within the company’s ERP.
In summary, SeeCommerce serves as the star center of any digital assets and information related to the assortment of different corporate brands.

“SeeCommerce automatically feeds sales channels and offers each colleague a single source of truth, which also serves as a historical record to keep photographic track of how a product evolves collection after collection.”
